How do I add my ticker to my Outlook email?
To use your tickers in Outlook, please follow the instructions below.
- Create an HTML file for your ticker. To do this, simply copy the text below into notepad, changing the ticker reference to the ticker you want to use.
Make sure that you save the file as a .html (by putting quotes around the filename eg "ticker.html") or it will name it with a .txt extention.
- Choose Tools > Options and click on the Mail Format Tab
- In Message Format - Compose in this message format, select HTML
- Click on the Signature button to create a new signature.
- Enter a name for the new Signature (optional).
- Select 'Use this file as a template'.
- Click on 'Browse' and navigate to where you saved your file.
- Click Next and then Finish
- In the Mail Format window select the new signature from the 'Signature for new messages' drop down.
- Click OK to finish
- You can send yourself a test email to check everything worked.
If you are replying to an email that is not in HTML format, your ticker may not work, and so you may only want to have the signature automatically in outgoing messages.

My email/ISP isn't listed here
Most of the time it is not your ISP that matters, but the email program that you are using to get your email, so please look through the above list to see if your email program is here. If you use a specialised email just for your ISP (such as AOL) or a webmail (like Optusnet's) that isn't listed here, please ask your ISP how you put images in your email signature.
